Large Carolyn Tote in Sky Blue with Snow Base

Inspired by a friend who wanted a bag to tote her computer to and from work - not a work bag, but a bag that worked for work - along with the ancillary things she carried in and out of the city and on the subway each day.  While it needed to be capacious, she didn't want a bag that was so big it became a black hole.  She wanted a bag with personality and that made her smile, but was still practical.  She needed a zipper to keep everything secure and an outside pocket she could slide her phone into when she needed to be hands free. 

We like to imagine trendsetter and fashion muse Carolyn Bessette-Kennedy would have appreciated the simple lines and sturdy structure of this re-imagined coastal classic tote, which reflects who she appeared in life: stylish but practical, serious but fun.  We used our unlined pebble leather in saturated colors with colorful top stitching because it is light but sturdy, unfussy and yet full of personality.  Thick handles give it heft and can take a day of running around on errands or from meeting to meeting either on your shoulder or in hand.  This heavy lifter bag is large enough to carry all your necessaries, including a laptop. The unlined interior features a side zipper compartment and a zipper closure on top ensures security. 

This Sky Blue is walks the line between periwinkle and a summer sky - chic and yet exuberant.
