This week I am thinking about color

With two trunk shows in four days, we met a lot of fabulous women, and we had the opportunity to receive a lot of feedback from them. And the feedback was an undeniable appreciation for the quality of our leather, and the variety of our colors. From the Lipstick Red Grace bag to the Espresso Talitha with Sky Blue lacing, our colors sparked joy and the feeling that a little bit of color made an everyday outfit more fun. I don't know why the quiet luxury movement, like beige, continues to haunt us. I get it - there is a time and a place for understated elegance. But the fear that we may not convey whispered wealth has us in its vise and it is, frankly, boring. A pop of red elevates almost any color and energizes the spirit. A blue as dusky as denim calms and compliments. Green adds elegance and serenity. I do not suggest one walk around like a package of skittles, but the judicious application of color conveys confidence and tells the world that the woman who wields it is marching to her own sartorial drum and can independently determine what her look says - wealthy or not.
