About The Furies
The Furies began with two friends—and a shared point of view. We wanted color and joy and a bag that could lend personality to any outfit without sacrificing the quality we grew up with. We wanted the bag to wear well, with the woman who carried it, and we wanted to work with partners who believed in sustainability and durability.
We founded The Furies Collective in 2024, designing from our home in Connecticut and manufacturing each bag in Argentina, where there is a rich source of high quality leather and an atelier that adheres to the standards of the Leather Working Group.
About the Founders
We are mothers, wives, friends, community members and career women. Tere grew up and began her career in Paris, where elegance wasn't stiff and sophistication had a personality to match the woman. Barb’s deep ties to Latin America and Argentina in particular sparked a love of artisan craftsmanship, hand-finishing, and fearless color.
We’ve lived abroad, built relationships and careers, raised families, and our styles reflect our lifestyles. We carry our stuff, our children's stuff, other people's stuff. We are strong, we are resilient and we are fabulous. We have learned that great style is embodied by the woman: it is assured. It’s personal, and it lasts.
About the Bags
Today every Furies bag is made by a third-generation, family-run atelier in Argentina, using pebble leather certified by the Leather Working Group — a global standard for environmentally responsible production.
Together, we create leather accessories that balance polish with personality. Strong, approachable, and made for women who know what they like. Just beautifully made bags with perspective.
