About Us

The Furies is the happy result of two friends coming together to create high quality, beautiful leather accessories for women. Our experiences traveling and living abroad, working, and raising families have informed a passion for fashion that is down to earth, bold without being brash, and always has a unique perspective.  Tere spent her youth in Paris, internalizing that 'je ne sais quoi' which translates into Old World sophistication and an appreciation for the finer things--food, art, and fashion.  Barb's extensive travels in Latin America and family connections with Argentina in particular have fed a lifelong love of artisan-made products, hand finishing and vivid, exotic color.  Drawing on these combined aesthetics, we've created The Furies’ first collection.  The Furies is strong and approachable, leveling substance with style and infusing quiet luxury with a punch of personality. 

OUR PRODUCTS

Our products are hand-finished in Argentina in a third generation, family-run workshop.  We use leather from local tanneries certified by The Leather Working Group, which maintains an Environmental Audit Protocol that promotes sustainable business practices within the leather industry, and ensures compliance along measures such as traceability, energy & water consumption, waste management & effluent treatment.
